How about a Kennel?
Some dogs may do fine in a boarding situation and in fact may need to be kenneled due to severe separation anxiety or if they are ill. However, most dogs and virtually all cats will be less stressed by remaining in their own secure environment at home. If you are thinking of kenneling your pets, here are some additional questions you might want answered:
What is the ratio of kennel keepers to animals boarded?
What is their maximum boarding capacity?
How qualified are the employees? Are they part-time high-school students?
Are they supervised? Who supervises and what is that person's title?
When you have a pet sitter come into into your home to make visits to your precious pets, you are guaranteed that your animals will not catch any "contagious" respiratory illness's or diseases that can be passed from other dogs and/or cats who are boarding in a kennel or at your vet hospital.
Your pets remain happy, content, and most of all given the care and attention that they crave, when their guardians are not able to be with them.
